Who We Are

Yasmeen nagori is a instructor for special needs children in social welfare for last 22 years.She is daughter of Abdullah darwesh who was a very religious health care professional.He helped alot of people in his life and inspired his daughter who decided to expand his father good work and helping people.She started helping people in small villages spacially where no help in farther villages.she has been helping since 35 years when she was an employee of ILO international labor organization.She started that from her personal savings and charity and than her children came along helping her helping others.

Yasmeen notices there are no schools and mosques and madarsa for in southern part of Pakistan near Indian border. She decided to light up that area with education in little children and 6 years a go she made her first school in wirawaah nagar parkar and arranged water wale pumps.There is a lot of water shortage in that area also monthly groceries distribution for low income families being done regularly.

Now she has started more schools in other part of tharparkar area which is all desert temperatures are so hot and tough and its so far that it’s impossible for help to reach their.She spends regular time there helping people and running her school.

Our roots date back to 2010 when a small group of family started help to poor people.  In 2013, Darwesh Foundation was established in the Pakistan in order to bring relief and aid to those suffering the effects of poverty in some of the most indigent regions of Pakistan, Since then, our work has benefited over thousands of people through our projects relating to healthcare, water, education, food and emergency relief.

Our organization comprises of a team of charitable, hard-working individuals whose collective goal is to help people.  Our strong network allows us to lend support and aid to those who need it most, wherever they are.  Global poverty is an issue at the forefront of the work of humanitarian charities like us.  Almost 10% of the human population lives in extreme poverty.  This staggering statistic is why we are dedicated to researching and providing sustainable, long-lasting solutions.  With your generous support, our aid reaches the vulnerable in various countries around the globe.

FOOD

Darwesh Foundation supporting families those who suffer with an emergency and need of food, We are committed to provide monthly food packs to them. We also work directly with indigent communities to boost their nutrition intake and develop self-sufficiency. During the Holy month of Ramadan, we are committed and delivering food by distribution of Rations (food packs) to families in need so that everyone is able to share in the rewards and blessings of this auspicious time.

HEALTH

Darwesh Foundation is delivering free healthcare to those who need across Pakistan.  Our teams are managing and participating emergency mobile health clinics, Eye camps, awareness programs and safety instruction program.

EDUCATION

We firmly believe that education is the key to breaking free from the vicious cycle of poverty.  In Tharparkar we are operating Three Schools with latest educational curriculum and Quran Pak Education. Children are attending our schools where we provide healthcare, nutritious food and warm clothing as well as access to modern education. We also provide school pic and drops for kids who lives in far villages.

It is estimated that more than 25% of the Pakistani population does not have access to a clean, safe water source or adequate sanitation. Especially Tharparkar area always remain a challenge for water availability for poor villagers. They walk miles to get the water for their living.

We are constantly working to develop self-sustaining and long-lasting solutions to this issue, which will result in a dramatic decline in the prevalence of communicable preventable diseases in the developing world.  Darwesh Foundation working for good resources of pure water like Water Wells, Hand pumps and water coolers.
